We are quality accredited by the Community Foundation Network and governed by an active board of trustees who know our community well. Our grant-making programme is supported by a committee of experienced and impartial community representatives who ensure requests for funds are legitimate and are efficiently and carefully assessed.

We are flexible.

Our donors can have as much or as little involvement in the grant-making process as they choose. They can change their mind over time about the causes they want to support and vary the amount and regularity of donations.

We are knowledgeable.

We work with donors and their professional advisers (solicitors, accountants, and others) to ensure their gifts are both tax and cost-effective. We accept and invest a wide range of assets, ensuring they are safe-guarded for the future.

We are quick.

We respond to new challenges and social concerns as they arise. We allocate funds in response to specific requests and can set up a substantial named fund in just one meeting.

We are convenient.

Our donors can direct the requests for support they receive from charities to us and we deal with these on their behalf. Donors can channel all of their charitable giving through us.
