TRUSTEE OF THE BOARD

The Board of Trustees is responsible for the governance, rather than day-to-day management of the Foundation. Each Trustee is required to give their time and expertise on a voluntary basis to make an important contribution to the Foundation's strategic aims, which requires having the interests of the community at heart.  This includes:
• making a commitment to the regular attendance at Board, Committee and Task Group meetings
• attendance at a range of receptions and events
• involvement in the Foundation's grant and fund development activities
• maintaining awareness of the Foundation's activities and also those of the local voluntary sector
• being an ambassador for the Foundation

Following the departure of two long standing trustees, the Board are now seeking people who have commitment to community issues and are able to contribute specific knowledge, expertise and skills in property development and management, the workings of national and local Government and portfolio investment.

If you are interested in selected to become a trustee, please contact Gill Wright for more information on 01908 304432 or e mail information@mkcommunityfoundation.co.uk.
