Our vision is to create a culture of giving that strengthens and supports the local community.

First Round of Grassroots Grants Awarded to 10 local Projects

Last week we awarded over £28,000 in grants of between £250-£5,000 from the new Grassroots Grants programme.

Small local projects will continue to benefit from this new stream of government funding which will be administered in the city by the Foundation for the next 3 years.

Funding is available for both voluntary-led charities and community groups for new and existing activities.  To find out if your group is eligible go to Grants/Grassroots_Grants the next deadline for applications is Friday 14th November.
